USN Standard Diver’s Knife – BOMAR Corp. Pittsburgh, PA.

Rare WWII vintage BOMAR USN Standard Diver’s Knife (overall length ~13 3/8″) in very good condition consistent with its age.  This Mark V Deep Sea Diving Knife has a solid brass sheath (~8 7/16”) stamped “MFD. BY BOMAR CORP. PITTSBURGH, PA.”.  The blade (~6 3/4″) has been used and has scratches where it has been sharpened and some minor surface spotting. The threaded brass bolster and pommel have no tool marks.  The wood handle has no visible cracks. Overall, this rare BOMAR Mark V knife is in very good condition, please see photos.  This hard to find USN dive knife will make a fine addition to any collection.
