Description
Farallon Dive Knife, Seki Japan.
Vintage Farallon design dive knife made in Seki, Japan, with locking sheath and straps. This vintage knife was likely designed by renowned knife maker Ichiro Hattori for Farallon (which was bought by Oceanic in 1976). Targeted at professional divers, it features a 4″ straight back blade with a 2″ deeply-serrated section on the spine and a line cutter. The thick, contoured full-tang Krayton handle provides a secure grip in any conditions. It also features a substantial double guard and a lanyard hole. Likely constructed in the late 1980s, this knife and sheath are in very good condition, with slight scratches on the blade from removing and placing in the sheath. The sheath backside also shows some cosmetic wear, and the straps should be replaced. Overall length: 9″, Knife Weight: 5.94 oz” (12 oz with sheath & straps). Please see photos.
