USN Standard Diver’s Knife Morse (Rockland) Commemorative Ser. No. 072.

This Morse commemorative Mark V Deep Sea Diving Knife, serial number 072 of 161, is in great condition and has an overall length of ~13 3/8′ long, and a solid brass sheath (~8 7/16” long) that includes the original leather strap. The sheath has no visible dings. The blade (~6 3/4″ long) is clean, clearly showing the commemorative etching that includes the image of a hardhat diver and “Ser 072, Morse Diving Inc., Since 1837”. The threaded brass bolster and pommel have no visible tool marks and are clean. The wood handle is also clean with no cracks, nicely showing the wood grain, but does have one minor ding. The original leather strap is new but shows its age and needs some refreshing. Please see photos.

Overall, this commemorative Morse Mark V knife, No. 72 of 161 made, is in great condition with a great (please see photos). This special edition USN Mark V dive knife makes a fine addition to any collection.
